A large flashing labradorite gemstone has been cut and polished into the shape of a coffin and is set into a gothic bezel of sterling silver. It is crowned with a gleaming bronze moon and accented with sterling silver flowers and gold-filled accents.
A cross has been cut out of the back of the piece to let light pass through the labradorite. The chain is sterling silver and is attached via three gold-filled jump rings.
This piece is part of my 2023 Spring Collection and was inspired by all of the religions and deities that have been celebrated during the Spring Equinox. From Persephone and Ostara to Xochhiquetzal and Jesus. The time around the Spring Equinox has had a powerful effect on the human imagination.
